Students for IT and software

The list of IT tasks often grows faster than the permanent developers can keep up with. A student in software or computer science can take on development, testing, support or IT security.

Do you have a list of tasks that keeps growing? Tell us about them, and we will look at which profile fits.

Possible tasks in IT and software for you?

A TrailBlazer in IT and software works in your team, with your tools and processes.

  • Development from idea to production

System architecture, backend and databases, in a well-defined development task all the way from idea to production.

  • Apps and internal tools

For example, an app for employees in the field that replaces paper and Excel sheets with history, notes and automatic reports.

  • Software testing and quality

Testing of new releases, automated tests and troubleshooting, so you can release with peace of mind.

  • IT support and Microsoft 365

Help for colleagues, administration and setup, for example of SharePoint with a user interface and file structure that make sense.

  • IT security

Security policies, testing of new software and material that makes colleagues aware of risks.

Systems that talk to each other, and paperwork that disappears.

Why a student for IT and software?

In many IT departments, a lot of time goes on day-to-day operations and routine tasks. A student can give you extra capacity without you having to go through a long recruitment process.

By bringing in a student, you both build your long-term in-house skills and take routine tasks off your experienced employees, so they can focus on creating value and progress.

Questions on IT and software

How does the student get secure access to our systems?

The student follows your rules and only gets the access the task requires. You provide a computer and access, just as you do for other employees.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the task and the student’s qualifications. There is no start-up fee, and you only pay for the hours worked. Contact us for a quote.

Who is the employer?

TrailBlaze is the formal employer. We handle the contract, recruitment, payroll, some insurance, time tracking and social security costs. You are the functional employer, as you are in charge of day-to-day management and have full authority to give instructions.

How does it work, and how quickly can we get started?

We talk with you about your needs, the tasks and what you are looking for in a candidate. You typically meet two screened candidates within 7 - 10 working days.

What if the candidates are not the right fit for us?

Then we find new candidates for you.

Any questions?
