Students for engineering

Calculations, testing and documentation often pile up when the technical projects are busy. An engineering student in, for example, energy, automation or production can take on the tasks.

Is a project on hold because you lack specific expertise? Tell us about the task.

Possible tasks in engineering for you?

A TrailBlazer in engineering can take on calculations, testing and documentation, so your engineers have more time for everything else.

  • Calculations and BIM

Structural calculations according to the Eurocodes and 3D models in, for example, Tekla and Revit.

  • Production and automation

Production optimisation, automation, PLC and electrical panels.

  • Robotics

Robots and cobots for automation, quality work and more capacity.

  • Energy and thermal systems

Energy optimisation, heat pumps, district heating and analyses of energy systems.

  • Testing, quality and documentation

Test data, quality data collection, bills of materials and documentation, the repetitive tasks that fill up the senior staff’s calendars.

  • CO₂ footprint and life cycle

Life cycle assessments, environmental product declarations and the CO₂ footprint of your products.

Why a student for engineering?

When a company grows, it is often short of hands, especially among the experienced staff. A student can take on calculations, testing and documentation, so the senior staff have more time for the tasks that require their experience.

Specialised profiles can be hard to find. When we look for candidates, we look at the task and not just the title, to make sure you get the best possible profile for your particular challenge.

Questions on engineering

Do you always find the right specialist?

We do what we can, but some niche profiles are rare. If we cannot find the right one, we will tell you honestly.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the task and the student’s qualifications. There is no start-up fee, and you only pay for the hours worked. Contact us for a quote.

Who is the employer?

TrailBlaze is the formal employer. We handle the contract, recruitment, payroll, some insurance, time tracking and social security costs. You are the functional employer, as you are in charge of day-to-day management and have full authority to give instructions.

How does it work, and how quickly can we get started?

We talk with you about your needs, the tasks and what you are looking for in a candidate. You typically meet two screened candidates within 7 - 10 working days.

What if the candidates are not the right fit for us?

Then we find new candidates for you.

Any questions?

Call or write to Victor. He is happy to help you clarify your technical tasks, even if you are not quite sure which candidate you are looking for yet.
